My Purpose

My life’s purpose is shining a light on our unique stories to illuminate our often surprising common humanity.

What I believe

I believe in potential. I fall in love with potential. I really believe that people are meant to be themselves — their best selves.

I believe that just as an acorn has within it the mighty oak, people have the blueprint within them to be even more than they’ve ever imagined — but first, they have to discover who it is they truly are.

What I do

I write about inspirational people.

And I teach and coach young people, focusing on that huge transition from adolescence through young adulthood — that time when the sapling is discovering its potential, struggling to grow, thrive, bloom, and blossom in a world that has absolutely no idea the beauty it’s about to behold.

Everyone has a story. I help you share yours.

“What I know is this: The world needs you to speak your truth. Speak the stuff you know. Some of you may think that to do so is radical. Others of you think to do so is selfish. And still others will think that what you do just in sharing your story is courageous, silly, crazy, meaningful. 

And that is why you should do it. You never know what you and your story mean to others. So go tell it. Share it. Loud and proud.
